Check your LinkedIn Privacy settings

When reading the new the new LinkedIn Privacy Policies, I noticed the links to disable Social Advertising and Enhanced Advertising didn’t work. What a surprise….

Anyway, to get to them, go to your account settings:

Click the Account tab in the bottom left of the screen. You will see the Privacy Controls settings:

From here you can disable the use of your name and photo in LinkedIn advertisement and personalized (enhanced) advertisement.

It’s up to you to do or don’t change these settings. I was just annoyed by the fact that the links in the new Privacy Agreement didn’t work. While you’re at it, check your other settings too 😉

I recommend going over your personal (privacy) settings on every social media website you have an account on regularly.
